External transport scripts are only supported in 3.2 beta releases of ht://Dig (and reliably so only in recent 3.2.0b4 snapshots). The handler.pl script is bundled in the contrib directory of the source tarballs for these betas, but is of no help with the 3.1.6 stable release. 3.2 also has built-in https support, but it's not working right just yet, so the recommendation to use handler.pl applies to 3.2 beta users. -- Gilles R.
