I think I'm missing something for French searching. I've set up two different config files: ef.conf and en.conf. Both call the generic ccfpd.conf. ef and en have start URLs and database locations (yes, they're separate database files). I also grabbed the language pack (for lack of a better term) from the web site.
I have a couple of things I don't understand: - the French accents are stripped from the French results page - If I enter a word with an accent into the search engine it doesn't find the accented word. i.e. if I search for Rponses I cannot find it even though I can generate a page with the accent stripped off. Would someone be able to give me some trouble shooting tips? My French is acceptable for reading, but I may have missed a step that had to do with the perl script _trans.pl (I think)? emma -- Emma Jane Hogbin Xtrinsic ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.net email is sponsored by: Scholarships for Techies!
