Hi there! I still don't really get how htdig and htfuzzy exactly use/modify the word2root/root2word databases. I have multiple searches that have different config files. I have only one common-directory where the bad_words and the affix file are placed as well as the word2root/root2word database.
So my question is: How are the word2root/root2word databases generated? Are they generated containing only the words indexed in one of the searches? If, for instance, a very small search that only indexes a single page, is reindexed, and htfuzzy is started as the word2root/root2word database is outdated (by sudden), will htfuzzy then create a word2root/root2word database only containing a few words? So that, if a very large search that indexes thousands of words, will not have an appropriate root2word/word2root database, as htfuzzy just wrote a new version containing only the very limited set of words found by the reindexing process of the very small search? Or is there some undocumented, magic mechanism that allows "incremental" building of the htfuzzy database? I'm a bit confused, thanks for your time in advanced, Peter Asemann -- +++ GMX - Mail, Messaging & more http://www.gmx.net +++ NEU: Mit GMX ins Internet.
