configure: error: To compile ht://Dig, you will need a C++ library. Try installing libstdc++.
Have you tried the advice provided in http://www.htdig.org/FAQ.html#q3.8 ? A change in newer GCC compilers results to a condition that falsely leads the configure process to believe that the C++ library is missing. The extra compiler flags provided in the FAQ usually solve this problem.
