hi, i have finally installed 3.2.0b5 -- yoohoo! i ran rundig once, and the stuff was all set.
now, my problem is that everytime i run it, it fails with: --- bash-2.05a$ ./rundig -a -s ./rundig: line 36: 19597 Killed $BINDIR/htdig -i $opts $stats $alt htpurge: Database is empty! --- this is a small website, only about 100 pages or so. anyway, my questions: 1. i guess my shared host has limits on the amount of memory i can take for process, and rundig takes more than this limit. is there a way to ask rundig to run for a while, then stop/sleep, then start again? 2. or any other idea to get around this processing limit on the server? 3. how can i make sure that if the new rundig process crashes (is killed) then the old db remains intact? i thought the "-a" directive in the "rundig" comamnd would take care of this but it doesnt. thanks! thanks! erick ________________________________________________________________________ BT Yahoo!
