Hmmmm ... this seems a library path problem. Could you please try this, if you use a 'bash' shell?


export LD_LIBRARY_PATH=$LD_LIBRARY_PATH:/home/htdig/lib
./rundig -v

Let us know if this makes it work. Also, I assume that the libraries (the .so files) are in /home/htdig/lib. Please change it if they are somewhere else.
