hi all! we\'ve just launched a website for one of our customers unsing HTdig to search the content. everything works fine but we cannot search for words that contain german umlauts. well we can search, of course, but there are no results given back :) words without umlauts are doing fine!
i have... -installed the german language files (german.aff, german.0 and bad_words) -reindexed the databases (rundig) -edited the config-file (\"locale: de_DE\" and filepaths) -cecked for /usr/share/locale/de_DE -reindexed the databases over and over again. everything looks fine but it still does not work: i can\'t find words containing umlauts. by the way i have managed to install the synonyms database by mistake :) that works perfectly. does anybody have another hint for me? thank you! ulli() btw. system: freeBSD ------------------------------------------------------- The SF.Net email is sponsored by EclipseCon 2004 Premiere Conference on Open Tools Development and Integration See the breadth of Eclipse activity.
