Hi Thank you very much. I have uninstalled 'htdig' from my server . But 'htdig-web ' - what it's actual key word? I tried with 'rpm -e htdig-web' but telling nothing is there.. Moreover I have installed the .rpm which you have mentioed and copied all the directories in my own area - then i have built the database ...Upto here 'no problem'.. But when i am executing 'htsearch' - The error is coming as follows: ____________________________________ [EMAIL PROTECTED] search]# /home/sites/192.168.1.100/web/search/htsearch hindu <html><head><title>htsearch error</title></head> 'htsearch' is using the default path- for 'htdig.conf ,header.html ,footer.html ,wrapper.html ,nomatch.html ,syntax.html ' So how i will define the path where i have kept all these files and run 'htdig' . Note that in either case, you may want to uninstall the htdig and
htdig-web RPM packages that usually get installed on Red Hat 9, as they
are built from somewhat buggy and old 3.2.0b4 development snapshots, and
may end up conflicting with the 3.1.6 stable release you want to install.
