Milt, I'm just another htdig user not a project member but maybe I can help. What platform are you running on? For a unix os this is done with cron; start by looking at the man pages - man crontab and also googling which will give you some great easy to follow examples.


On windows there is the job scheduler which serves much the same purpose; depending on your version of windows this might be gotten to by (I'm on xp home ed)

start > control panel > administrative tools > scheduled tasks > add scheduled task
