I'm using ht://Dig 3.1.6. The rankeng is configured as folowing in htdig.conf:
backlink_factor: 0 # weight of document based on links pointing to it date_factor: 0.5 # higher ranking to newer documents description_factor: 20 # description factor for link text heading_factor_1: 50 # factor for HTML H1 tag heading_factor_2: 30 # dito heading_factor_3: 3 # dito heading_factor_4: 1 # dito heading_factor_5: 1 # dito heading_factor_6: 0 # dito keywords_factor: 350 # factor used to multiply the weight of words in the list of keywords of a document meta_description_factor: 100 # factor that multiplies the weight of any META description tags in a document text_factor: 200 # factor that multiplies the weight of words that are not in any special part of a document title_factor: 100 # factor that multiplies the weight of words that are in the title of a document
There is a page, which contains the string "en 61508" in keywords. As you can see, the keywords_factor in conf-file is the biggest, so I expected when I submit a search string "en 61508" that the first search result is the page which contains the string "en 61508" - but it isn't... htsearch returns it as 6th search result. The first 5 results only countains "en" but bot "61580"
Could somebody tell me what's wrong with that?
The query that the request send to htsearch is:
config=staging.de.com/htdig_de&words=EN+61508&sort=&restrict=&exclude=|backup|download|stellenangebote|/kontakt/|sitemap&page=1
TIA.
