[htdig] *file download* /instead of search results..

Hi      I am running htdig3.16 version ...      I have indexed a html page.. When i am running *rundig* from the command line it is ok, I am getting the result..But when i am trying to execute the *htsearch* using the index.html , which is being provided with the *htdig* , instead of search result , it is coming the *file download* small popup screen..      Where i am missing?   Any pointer is really appreciated...
