Hi everyone,
I just tried setting date_factor to give more recent pages more weight. I found that the top-returned documents are from way in the future (e.g. 12-12-2005). When I look at the file properties, they were all 12-12-2003, which is when the file was created. I looked in the metadata, the DC.Date.Created, DC.Date.Issued, DC.Date.Modified were all also 12-12-2003. However the DC.Date.Review metadata is 12-12-2005, so I'm guessing that is what htdig is using for date_factor. Is this an htdig bug? Can I get around this problem somehow?
Thanks
Martin
