I think the more interesting part will be closer to the beginning of this output, where htdig is trying to retrieve and index files. And secondarily when htmerge runs, and perhaps discards documents for some reason. Does the specified file actually exist? Are its permissions set such that htsearch can read the file (i.e. does the user the web server runs as have sufficient access to the file)?
