Hi,
i spend many hours with configuration of htdig and apache2. Sometimes configuration-file seems to be ok, and sometimes it looks that another configuration were used. In the end i tried the following:
strings htsearch | grep -i conf
Now i could see that htsearch were compiled with completley different pathes. I another FAQ advices to
have different binarys. After compiling htdig with my own pathes, everything looks fine.
For the future i wish an additional option '-version' to show all the compiled pathes.
