It would seem that you're trying to update with 3.2.0b5 a database that was originally created with a 3.1.x release of ht://Dig. That's not going to work. In addition to using a different DB version, 3.2 has changed the format of the data it stores in the DB records, and even the set of databases used by the various programs in the suite. Try rebuilding the database from scratch, using either "htdig -i" or the rundig script. If that still fails, try removing all /var/spool/htdig/db/outdoor.* files manually before reindexing. -- Gilles R.
