My observations in other contexts - including an 
exploding index! - suggest that it'll regard them 
as distinct. 

Are the pages (in that section of your site) 
differentiated only by the id= value?

If they have distinct URLs, you'll want to look at:

 bad_querystr:?id=

If not, you'll want to look at  search_rewrite_rules
with which I cannot help. 

Then there's the option of weeding the site to get 
all links to take one consistent form. Yuk.
