Do they have different purposes or are they interchangeable?
You will probably need to talk to someone associated with the maintenance of the Fedora packages to find out what is going on here. This is a setup specific to the distribution in question. ht://Dig just provides the source. How it is built and bundled is up to the group distributing the binaries.
