I am not fluent in CGI in any form. I am trying to test htsearch on the command line on linux. I try typing:
/opt/www/cig-bin/htsearch wxButton
and I get html output saying no matching results. If I just type:
/opt/www/cig-bin/htsearch
and I enter int he wxButton at the prompt I get what looks like results, but I can't save it to a file to test in a browser. I also tried to run the default search website, and I did not even get a results page! I have searched the htsearch pages and they were not very helpful.
How do I pass the variables to the htsearch script (i.e., like htsearch wxButton)? Any ideas why I am not getting any results in mozilla (not even a no matches page)?
Sincerely,
Joseph McCay
