When I click on a link that utilises the SSL connection we have, and then search for something using HTDIG, the star image does not appear on the results page. I know that the reason for this is the extra forward-slash and the htdig folder reference (/htdig) in front of the URL for the image. However, I cannot seem to find the original file to delete it from. The code in the results page appears like this: <img src="/htdig/star.gif" alt="*"><img src="/htdig/star.gif" alt="*"><img src="/htdig/star.gif" alt="*"><img src="/htdig/star.gif" alt="*"> I need it to appear like this <img src="star.gif" alt="*">
You can specify the locations of the images with the following attributes.
http://www.htdig.org/attrs.html#star_image http://www.htdig.org/attrs.html#star_blank
I have followed instructions under FAQ Question 4.16, but cannot seem to find a htdig.config file. I have a build.config and a search.config file but can't find the htdig.config file (HTDIG was installed by my ISP - who can't seem to help me).
I would guess that search.config is what you are looking for in this case. It sounds like your ISP separated things out and provided you with one config file for building your databases and another for customizing the behavior of htsearch. When the documentation mentions htdig.conf, replace that with search.conf when you are customizing search output and build.conf when customizing how your databases are built.
