I am
not an expert on IIS, but I do believe that it is possible to run CGI
applications through IIS. However all of my installations so far have usedA
pache as the server. I did change htsearch.exe to htsearch.cgi (simply byr
enaming the file) which cured a problem with some other organisations
firewall/filtering if that is at all relevant.
Some
of the paths that are used for the default Windows install of htdig reflect a
typical Apache install, but I have been able to change all of those that
conflicted; I believe it is only the path to the /bin folder that is
hard-coded.
