Jacson,
I am not an expert on IIS, but I do believe that it is possible to run CGI applications through IIS. However all of my installations so far have usedA pache as the server. I did change htsearch.exe to htsearch.cgi (simply byr enaming the file) which cured a problem with some other organisations firewall/filtering if that is at all relevant.
Some of the paths that are used for the default Windows install of htdig reflect a typical Apache install, but I have been able to change all of those that conflicted; I believe it is only the path to the /bin folder that is hard-coded.

Hope that helps,
Mike

Hi!
Thanks in advance for your help.
Is it necessary to have Apache instaled at de server ?
The server administrador said to me :
"We are sorry , but unfortunantly it will no be possible to instal htdig because our server is windows, and to in order to install it we need Apache , and we do not have apache at the server . Our server uses Internet Information Services (IIS) " .

Are they correct , is it impossible to instal just because their server is windows without Apache ?

Thanks
Jacson

I for one have used Ht://dig on Windows for some years - my latest install was 3.1.6 on Windows Server 2003 late last year.
Configuration is not as easy as some Windows apps due to the lack of a GUI, but has proved stable and reliable.
