Enclose each section in
  <!--htdig_noindex-->
     html content you do not want indexed
  <!--/htdig_noindex-->

It _is_ a little tricky to find in the documentation.  I've used it, and
knew what I was looking for, but it still took several minutes to find.  
If you look in the section on configuration file attributes
noindex_start and noindex_end describe the function.
