I've compiled htdig 3.1.6 on FreeBSD 5.3. I needed to set CXXFLAGS and CPPFLAGS first as is noted in FAQ q3.8 setenv CXXFLAGS -Wno-deprecated setenv CPPFLAGS -Wno-deprecated
It's compiled using the builtin gcc 3.4.2 When running rundig the following happens.
