You might need to do things like aclocal first. I don't know the
details of how to prepare source code for compilation but you might
read up on the general "make" process first.
Good luck with your project and feel free to write back if I've
misunderstood the question!

Hi List
I am trying to install version 3.1.6 from tar source as opposed to the
rpm within Yast2 SuSE.
I have run the following:
./configure --prefix=/chroot/httpd/htdig
--exec-prefix=/chroot/httpd/htdig/depend
--exec-prefix=/chroot/httpd/htdig
--with-config-dir=/chroot/httpd/htdig/conf
--with-default-config-file=test.conf
--with-common-dir=/chroot/httpd/htdig/common
--with-database-dir=/chroot/httpd/htdig/database
--with-cgi-bin-dir=/chroot/httpd/cgi-bin
--with-search-dir=/chroot/httpd/htdig/search
--with-search-form=FORM.conf
--with-image-dir=/chroot/httpd/htdig/images
Thus when I run make # make
make: *** No targets specified and no makefile found. Stop.
[EMAIL PROTECTED]:/local/sw/htdig/src/htdig-3.1.6 #
What is the include filename about
And how do I run make as I cant see any Makefiles.
Cheers
