OK, I took a look at the requirements for putting this into the Makefiles
and configure scripts. I just added it, but I haven't had a chance to try
it out.
Basically, the configure script now supports:
configure --prorgram-prefix=PREFIX
configure --program-suffix=SUFFIX
configure --program-transform=REGEX
Cool, huh?
