Sigh.
OK, I'm committed to getting 3.1.1 out the door, tomorrow if possible. It
just needs to be done, or we'll keep getting "Why do I get bus error?"
messages for some time.
While I agree with Hans-Peter's patch to change the locale to "C" in the
defaults, I'm not taking it for this release. I'm a little worried that
there may be some unintentional side-effects, and I don't want to open the
locale debate again until AFTER this release gets out.
So... Once again, http://www.htdig.org/files/htdig-3.1.1.tar.gz contains
the latest pre-release. (Hopefully the last.) It seems to work for me, but
please try it out if possible. If I don't hear any flames, I'm announcing
it tomorrow afternoon.
