Heck, if people are interested in cooking up more fuzzy modules, that would be great too. Here's the problem: ignoring the pile of coding that I still need to do to complete the phrase search modifications, I'm at a bit of a loss on some of my planned fuzzy modules. I had come up with the idea of a simple spelling-correction module. Since it would base the corrections on the word database, it seems like it should match even misspellings in both the query and the word. Right now, the speling module matches one-off errors for either extra characters or transpositions. Obviously, it would be great to match one-off errors in missing letters too. But I can't come up with a solution beyond a naive one since we might be matching accented characters. Is there something better than looping through the word characters in each position and testing if such a word exists? -Geoff ------------------------------------ To unsubscribe from the htdig3-dev mailing list, send a message to [EMAIL PROTECTED] containing the single word "unsubscribe" in the SUBJECT of the message.
