Actually, why don't we just separate into Active and Previous? I know
"Active" is often a variable issue, but this seems like it requires less
updating (than periodically adding a date...).
I also don't really like the idea of having a date on each line...
(I'm in the middle of updating some of the maindocs files, so if you
want me to do this, I will.)
