I just wanted to make that perfectly clear before releasing. I certainly
consider myself as an active part of the htdig group ;-)

It's more than just keeping in touch with htdig. As it is structured
now the mifluz CVS tree does *not* include htlib and htword. A script
does a checkout from the htdig CVS tree. The idea is precisely to
prevent incompatible branches. This will make things harder for
contributors because they will have to get a read/write access to
Senga and htdig to work on the main branch. And they will have to
compile/test both mifluz and htdig before commiting.
Beside, as I said on the list two weeks ago, my company hired someone
to work exclusively on the indexer. His first day is tomorrow.
He should take over on this part in the following weeks. He has a
much more solid theorical and mathematical background than I have. I'm
very glad this happens because my tasks will now be limited to Catalog
and the crawler. It's still a bit too much but I hope I can handle it
:-)
The guy was very much attracted by the free software aspect of our work
and I'll make sure he understands how important the cooperation with htdig
is.
Cheers,
