That's the date sorting feature that's been in htsearch for quite
some time.  I think Geoff is referring to some patches posted by Mike
Grommit back around March or April-ish.  I don't have them right now,
so you could probably find them as quickly as I could.  I think he was
working with 3.1.0 or 3.1.1, so the patches may need some work to apply
to current or development code.  My impression when I saw his last patch
was that it still needed some work, but it's a good starting point.
He claimed his last patch did the job for his client.
