First of all: This should probably not go into the -dev mailing
list ;-)
At our site, we're using PHP (both, version 3 and 4) for creating
dynamic content. Ht://Dig has no problems correctly indexing them.
Of course, you need to run the dig via HTTP, not local file-system.
You also should care about the settings in your configuration files,
which might exclude PHP or other scripting stuff from being indexed.
Then - there is a problem with Ht://Dig 3.1.3 with regards to URL
syntax: Version 3.1.3 was enhanced to support HTML 4.0 style URL
syntax (i.e. 4.0 requires an URL to be entity ecoded), whereas pre-
vious versions did not recognize en encoded ampersand correctly.
However, there is a little bug in this enhancement, which should
have been fixed in the 3.1.3-1 release. This bug affects pages
with more than one URL parameter. If your pages have multiple
parameters, you should probably apply the patch issued on the
mailing list or upgrade to 3.1.3-1.
hth,
Torsten
