I think it's a necessary task for any Unicode task. However, I would guess
that it will be easier to convert in parts than a grand whole. In other
words, several people divide up the files and go through them making the
conversion.
I'd step forward (for the mainline), but I'm already negligent on getting
in the ExternalTransport and date searching.
