Tolerate? Hey, the more the merrier, as far as I'm concerned. A lot of
our past contributors haven't been really active in further development
of late, so I think a few more helping hands would be a good thing.
As far as information from you, that would depend on how you'd like to
contribute. If you want write access to the CVS repository, you should
ask Geoff about this. Many contributors give their changes as patch files,
which works fine for small numbers of changes.

You should probably have a look at the developer site, http://dev.htdig.org/,
to get more familiar with things. It's also a really good idea to take some
time to study the source code, to get a good feel for how the pieces fit
together. In the end, experience is the best teacher, but you have to start
somewhere.
