Generally, this happens when htsearch dies before it puts out its
Content-Type header. You'd need to find out why it's dying. A look at
the server error log may give further information. I'd also suggest
trying "htsearch -vvv" from the command line, and entering a simple
query when prompted for words. This may give you a better idea of what
the problem is. If you get a core dump, try getting a stack backtrace
from gdb, if you can.
