Actually, let's separate this a bit. The "main branch" is not necessarily 3.2. The branch I made was labelled "htdig-3-2-x" for a reason. It's not just for 3.2.0b1. I called a feature freeze so that we might get 3.2.0b1 out soon. I don't think Vadim's configuration code went in yet, so I'll add that tonight, and put my ExternalTransport code up for approval as well. Beyond that, I think we just need lots of testing. (Correct me if I'm wrong.) I suspect we'll need a 3.1.x maintenance release or two. With what people *desire* for 3.2, we still have more to do--significantly searches by date or "field." As I said when I made the branch, after 3.2.0b1, we should probably unfreeze to finish up final features and work out all the bugs and problems people will discover. :-( As for what to go into 3.1.4, we certainly have to put in the ampersand patch. It's becoming enough of a problem I'd almost suggest rolling 3.1.4 before Thanksgiving... -Geoff ------------------------------------ To unsubscribe from the htdig3-dev mailing list, send a message to [EMAIL PROTECTED] containing the single word "unsubscribe" in the SUBJECT of the message.
