Gudday, all.

I'm having some problems with htdig 3.1.3 (compiled with patch)
on a FreeBSD 3.1-Release machine.

All of the problems seem to stem from the fact that it doesn't
seem to be travelling through the PHP3 documents very well.

One problem is that it changes some things - e.g. I have a
document that is called as
        .../internal.php3?pass=pass&val=help.php3
but htdig turns that into
        .../internal.php3?pass=pass=help.php3
i.e. it's blanking out the "&val" bit. It does this in several
places, and when I did a "rundig -vvv" I saw it explicitly do
this. I do not know why, though - it's not in the synonym
list & endings shouldn't make a difference; anyone have any
idea?

The second major problem is that there are many documents
it should be indexing, but it isn't - it's as if it thinks
the links are pointing to binary files (or non web files) and
so not following them. This seems to be the case when there
are documents with URLs like
        .../internal.php3?targ=top&pass=event&id=68
although I don't know if it's related to the above problem
meaning it never gets to these links as it gets confused and
can't follow links properly.

The only exclude I have is to not search the /cgi-bin/ directory and
.cgi files, and the limit_urls_to is set to the entire site. I know
what places it's not going to as I have a demo version of ultraseek
(the engine infoseek uses) and it's finding a lot more than htdig.

Anyone have any recommendations? If so, can you please cc the

Thanks in advance.
