I'm starting to commit the new commpression code, it achieves
8xcompression compared to an uncompressed index. It works in the same
context as the compression implemented by loic (it
compresses/uncompresses pages within Berkeley DB when they
written/read to the db file), but I made the comperssion algorithm
specifically for compressing DB pages (loic's compression used zlib).
Since pages are generally full of redundant data this can achieve good
compression ratios.
