You are right. I forgot about it.
I even don't know how to avoid this.

May be we should declare variables in some way:
===========================
<custom_vars>
 lang_dir
</custom_vars>
lang_dir: ${common_dir}/german
============================

But it breakes compatibility with previdows configs.
We should decide if typo is problem only for me, or not, and we should
to do something with it.
