[htdig3-dev] Building a Search Engine with multiple sites

I am researching how to build a search engine that must be able to search 3
sites. I 
am looking on the webpage http://www.htdig.org/htsearch.html, and I see my 
question stated. Yet, I cannot find a reply to the question.

Any help you are able to give me would be greatly appreciated.
