Hi,
I'm sorry to bother you but I have a question and can't seem to
find anything particular about it on the website. We were using
htdig-3.0.8b and I have recently compiled htdig-3.1.4 and am testing
it out. In the htdig.conf file I have 'start_url' set to only our
website (http://www.soest.hawaii.edu) and 'limit_urls_to' set to
'start_url'. This used to work as I expected. Now when I run htdig,
the log appears to show that it is "digging" many other sites....
ex.
New server: ads3.zdnet.com, 80
New server: reg.excite.com, 80
New server: ugweb.cs.ualberta.ca, 80
New server: webreference.com, 80
New server: www-act.ucsd.edu, 80
New server: www-aquarium.ucsd.edu, 80
New server: www-bio.unizh.ch, 80

Would you please explain this to me and if it is really going to
search these sites...how do I stop it? I am not on the maillist
so if you would please respond directly to me that would be great.
Thanks for any help you can give me.

Aloha,
Sharon Stahl
