I tried to use the following configuration-file beginning, with intent that
all of the named URL's be indexed. In practice, it indexed only the
start_url site (www.parkaveshops.com).
If anyone could explain what I need to do . . want at least the option to
index multiple sites in the same run.
And, the prompt responses -- to prior questions -- from Geoff and Gilles were
certainly apppreciated . .

# Example config file for ht://Dig.
#
create_image_list: yes
create_url_list: yes
database_dir: /usr/var/www/virtual/parkaveshops/htdest/db
#
# This specifies the URL where the robot (htdig) will start. You can specify
# multiple URLs here. Just separate them by some whitespace.
# The example here will cause the ht://Dig homepage and related pages to be
# indexed.
# You could also index all the URLs in a file like so:
# start_url: `${common_dir}/start.url`
#
start_url: http://www.parkaveshops.com/
limit_urls_to: ${start_url} http://www.illuminations.com/
http://www.borders.com/ http://www.parkaveshops.com/can/htm/ borders.com
