         AFAIK there's no limit on the QUERY_STRING now. Even if I've 
always read that there's a limit on the GET method, I have never found the 
exact size written on some resources (RFC of HTTP1/1 included). If you know 
something more exact please tell me, but for example today I just tried 
with my Apache (1.3.12) to request a URL whose size was bigger than 3K. And 
no problems.

Do you know something more reliable than mine regarding that?
