That would be extremely helpful to me at least. Normally, we don't do
enough of this until near release and then it can be a scramble to figure
out why things are dying on other platforms.

Don't worry. I should put something up on dev.htdig.org that the mainline
CVS tree is broken and we are working mainly on the 3-2-x branch. The
active developers obviously know, but that doesn't help newcomers!
