I agree.  Fuzzy chaining would be a nice addition, but it may take some
time to get it working right, and it shouldn't hold up the 3.2.0 release.
I mentioned it more so that you'd think about how it might be spliced in
later, so you don't adopt a scheme that would make that later addition
really difficult.
