This is only slightly on-topic. Today RSA released the algorithm into the
public domain.

What does this mean? It means we can incorporate HTTPS code more directly
without patent issues! So if someone would like to package the patches to
htdig-3.1.4 into a Transport class, we'll be set for HTTPS natively in
3.2.x.

(Then if we had FTP, we'd have native protocols for almost anyone.)
