Unless Loic has passed away, or there's no chance of him looking at this
in the next month, my personal preference would be to hold off and try to
get this running in the upcoming beta. Otherwise, it'll really require
another beta cycle to get that ironed out.

Which is buggier right now? Or is Quim's new code still being developed?
Is there an ETA for it? Again, I'm of the mind that we should try to get
the big changes in now so that they'll get tested by the beta testers
sooner rather than later. If this waits till b4, it likely won't get a
good workout until the new year.
