Ciao my dear friends!!!
How are you all doing? I am pretty good and busy, as most of you. I
just joined the PLUG, Prato Linux User Group (Prato is my town and is in
Tuscany, 10 miles far from Florence) and I want to set up a world
conference about ht://Dig. Better, I wish I could ... together with other
LUG members.
The best time would be late spring or early summer 2001; we could have
enough time to set things up, and gather enough money from sponsors in
order to make you guys from abroad come.
In particular, I'd like that Geoffrey, Gilles, Loic and of course
Andrew would be certainly present. Without one of you, I can't imagine such
a conference. And, as far as I know, neither of you has ever seen Florence,
the most beautiful city of the world, so ... (is it enough convincing?).
Of course the conference would be opened to other developers spread in
all over the world too, and lots of them are other european countries, like
Germany, France, Russia, Netherlands.
So ... if you let me know what you think about it ... Any ideas,
suggestions or comments would be appreciated, and overall your availability
!!! I am sure it would be outstanding, and we could finally meet each other
(I only have had the pleasure to meet Loic -- thanks again Loic --).
