I am having some trouble with this version:
Running on Redhat 7, gcc-2.96, glibc-2.1.94 and on another with glibc-2.2:
I made an alias on my webserver pointing to /usr/share/doc/ and included
that as start url in my htdig.conf.
Htdig never stops, apparently indexing the same pages over and over. One
possible clue may be that htdig leaves behind about 10 defunct conv_doc.pl
processes after running for about 10 hours (at which time I stopped it).

Subject: [htdig3-dev] Re: ExternalParser patch (to 121000 snapshot)

Aha. I figured out the bug with closing and opening pipes (you have to do
it in the right order)!

Attached is a patch to the 121000 snapshot to get ExternalTransport and
ExternalParser to work correctly.

Please test the snapshot (pref. with patch) and push on it. I will try
fix up bugs ASAP so we can try to get 3.2.0b3 out this week. (fingers
crossed)

Cheers,
-Geoff
