htsearch does not update the database - it only queries the existing
database.  If it took 11 hours to rebuild from scratch, an update dig
using rundig.sh should be a fair bit faster than that.  You can run
it nightly using cron, if you'd like, or less often if you don't feel
you need it updated that often.
