OK, I'm a bit confused about the warning messages you got. The current
configure script *should* set it correctly for your header file. So I'm a
bit stumped. Could you take a look at the config.log file--it has the
output of the configure tests. Importantly, I'm curious about the
select(...) test, which apparently failed silently.
