Yes, this should work with earlier versions of htsearch, as well as current
versions.

I believe this works correctly only since version 3.1.0b4, so the old
version which Fran�ois is running won't handle this form correctly. He
should either upgrade to 3.1.1 or later (preferable), or stick to the
value="this|that" form for multiple restrict or exclude patterns.
Note, though, that an exclude of "this|that" will exclude any URLs with
"this" or "that" ANYWHERE in the URL. As Fran�ois complains that he's
no longer getting results, it may be that his values for "this" and/or
"that" are not restrictive enough. E.g., if you want to exclude
http://www.my.domain/this/*
but not
http://www.my.domain/other/files/withthis.html or
http://www.thisdomain/stuff
then you should use a value of "http://www.my.domain/this" in your exclude
parameter, and not just value="this".
